Our Third Annual Report!

Last month at Expo in Portland, Primavera was recognized as the 2023 SCA Sustainability Award Winner for Business Model – we are incredibly proud of that recognition! One of our key sustainability efforts is our annual Sustainability Report. This project helps us evaluate our progress toward building sustainable value chains and create new goals for the future, and most importantly, it helps us start and continue conversations about sustainability with our producing and roasting partners around the world.
 
What’s new in this year’s report? In addition to updated transparency data, here’s a preview of what’s new in this year’s report:
· An examination of the complexities surrounding cost of production, and a summary of what we have learned about increased costs of production in Guatemala.
· A deep dive into our work with Vicafe and Jovemcafe, two producer groups in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Both groups are executing projects in conjunction with The Chain Collaborative, which will benefit the groups’ members, their communities, and the environment.
· Photos from our installation of new solar panels at our dry mill in Santa Rosa, Guatemala.
· A summary of our water filter distribution efforts in 2022.
· And more!
