Guatemala Harvest

Tom, Hillary and Stijn with Ruth and Esdras, from the Tinamit Co-operative at their cafe in San Lucas Tolimán

The team, Hillary from the USA, Tom from the UK and Stijn representing the Europe Office, have gathered in Guatemala to help the Quality Control team cup through the countless offer samples coming in and to meet with our wonderful producers. This is an exciting and important time of year, since it will give us an overview of the Guatemalan harvest in the different regions.

Harvest update

Cooler weather has delayed harvest slightly but picking has begun for the majority of our producers and we've already started purchasing and receiving parchment at our mill. Producers with farms at higher altitudes, like those in Huehuetnenango, will typically harvest a few weeks later as cherries take longer to ripen. We have already received fantastic quality and consistency in our lots from the early stages of the harvest!

Plan your volumes

If you haven't let the team know what you're looking for in 2024, please reach out when you have a moment. The sooner we know what you're looking for, the better we will be able to help you find the perfect coffee lot for your needs and for the best price.
