We are Primavera Green Coffee, and our mission is to provide roasters with high quality coffees. Primavera has roots in Guatemala and offers outstanding coffees from origins around the world. We believe that sustainable specialty coffee is about the producers. That is why we are committed to investing in quality coffee and the communities that grow it.

We believe that investing in and nurturing our relationship with producers is key for a great tasting cup.

This allows us to provide roasters with the coffees they desire. Primavera Green Coffee is an exporter and importer of high quality coffees, with a long history in Guatemala and relationships around the world. In Guatemala, our sister exporting company La Central de Café works with over 200 coffee growers around the country and operates a dry mill outside of Guatemala City. Primavera Green Coffee offers transparency and excellent customer service to our roasting partners in the UK, Europe, and North America. We believe that investing in relationships with producers is key for a great tasting cup, and our passion for sustainable high-quality coffees shines through in every aspect of our work.

Sustainability Report 2024

At Primavera, sustainability is not a checkbox but the foundation of how we do business. Since our beginnings in Guatemala, we have believed that true sustainability must balance three interconnected pillars: economic resilience, environmental stewardship, and social well-being.

This report highlights the progress we made in 2024 toward that vision — from ensuring transparent and fair pricing for producers, to advancing climate-smart farming practices, to strengthening the communities at the heart of our supply chain. By working closely with partners across Guatemala, Colombia, and Ethiopia, we continue to build value chains that are equitable, resilient, and future-focused.

Guatemala 2025 Harvest Updates

Jose Manuel

The business of specialty coffee would simply not exist without the work of agronomists. They are our eyes and ears in the field, the first responders to a producer’s questions, and possess a wealth of knowledge which combines science with site-specific learning.

Jose Manuel is an agronomist with our Guatemalan sister company, La Central de Cafe, and works with our team in Huehuetenango. During a recent visit, we interviewed him about his career journey and what makes his work rewarding.

Yeimi Galindo

Yeimi Galindo is originally from Huehuetenango, her academic training accredits her as a technician university in fruit production and has completed her studies as an agricultural engineer. Her work experience has been developed working with coffee growers in the Huista region, focusing to provide technical assistance in processes of establishing agroforestry systems, improving productive processes, harvest and post-harvest.

Santos Ramirez

Santos Ramirez talks about being a passionate coffee producer. He describes it as both a business and a fulfilling way of life, highlighting his daily coffee routine and deep connection to his work and surroundings.

Francisco & Ramon Ramirez

Interview with Francisco Anastacio Días Garcia and his son Ramon Dias, coffee producers based in San Antonio Huista.

Video Voyage

We created this video series to share the story of Guatemalan coffee with our partners around the world who roast and brew coffee. We hope that these nine informational videos will give you better insight into what goes into producing specialty coffee and the extraordinary amount of skill our producer partners show by delivering exceptional green coffee year after year.

This series highlights the coffee value chain from the nursery to the bags of quality exportable green coffee, featuring our teams in Huehuetenango and Fraijanes, and some of our producer partners from Huehuetenango. Please use it as an educational resource and share it as needed! We are happy to share the beauty and skill behind each cup of coffee through ‘Primavera Presents: A Video Voyage through Guatemalan Coffee.’
