Fresh Crop Guatemala

Samples Available Now

As the harvest season draws to an end in Guatemala, our lab and milling operation gets really busy. We're cupping countless samples, preparing and exporting our microlots and fully traceable blends, and getting excited as they make their way to their final destinations. It is at this time when we can truly evaluate the harvest.

Read on for more information about the 2025 harvest and be sure to get in touch with a member of our team for samples if you haven’t already!

Our team in Guatemala have had a busy year so far, with unpredictably high C market prices resulting an unusual season across the supply chain. Despite the challenges, this year’s quality has been excellent. This is large part due to the hard work of our team in Huehuetenango, whose work with producers ensures they selectively pick and process as carefully as always.

The rainy season (June - October 2024) was very good, resulting in strong resistance on the plants through the subsequent dry months. Chilly nights in November and December resulted in slower maturation for the cherries and a delay in the harvest of about 3 - 4 weeks.

Our fully traceable regional lots, which are hand selected at our lab in Guatemala City, have been milled and prepared for export - arriving at their destinations in the next few weeks.

Microlots and our famous Arcoiris Coffees, the majority grown at higher altitudes and therefore later maturation, are now starting to arrive at our warehouse.

2025 is shaping up to be one of the most important years in coffee in recent history. We remain by the side of our trusted network of farmers and roasters, and are doing all we can to ensure that communication remains open and ongoing. As always, we're trying our best to meet the needs of everyone in the supply chain.
