Primavera's 2021 Virtual Origin Trip ✈️
MAKING THE BEST OF A YEAR WITH LIMITED TRAVEL
We've made it out of 2020, but due to the continued risk posed by the COVID-19 virus, we will be postponing all origin trip travel to 2022. While we will miss these in-person connections, cupping with clients, and farm visits, we always prioritize safety and health.
Luckily, there are now so many ways to connect and stay in touch using telecommunications, and moving forward virtually presents opportunities as well as challenges. We're hoping that, by creating a Virtual Origin Trip experience, we can help connect buyers, roasters and coffee professionals to origin in a meaningful and impactful way.
WHAT'S A VIRTUAL ORIGIN TRIP (VOT), ANYWAY?
To us, a VOT should be an enriching and multifaceted experience, in the same way a normal origin trip is. Our 2021 VOT will bring together education, personal connections, and meaningful dialogue across the supply chain - and pre-shipment samples will also bring the cupping table to you, showcasing our diverse fresh crop offerings. At the end of 2020, we published our Sustainability Report, and our exploration of sustainability will inform every aspect of our VOT.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THE COMING WEEKS?
Participation will be easy and much of the content can be viewed on a flexible schedule to suit your needs during these busy months. The content will be published on our website in the coming weeks, including recordings of webinars. You can also check out our Instagram, where our harvest updates will be published - you can engage and ask us questions through that platform. And as always, you can reach out to us for more details.
ANOTHER WAY TO PARTICIPATE: ASK A QUESTION
Do you have a question about Guatemala, the harvest, or the lives of coffee producers? We are collecting questions from our clients that will be answered in a video during our VOT. Visit the VOT page to send in your questions!
