From sunny Guatemala with lush trees and a refreshing mountain breeze to freezing ice-cold Amsterdam. ⛸ What a week we had! We are back in Europe with loads of good energy and inspiration to assist you in finding your favourite coffees from the 2018 harvest. We settled down in our new Amsterdam office, unpacked the sample roaster, and are ready for the first containers that are soon coming our way. 🔥

Meanwhile, coffees are still flowing into our cupping lab in Guatemala City. We're focussing on 85+ coffees, but if you're in need of something specific, mail us and we'll keep you in mind!

What's in a name?

You may have seen we're using the PrimaVera Coffee Importers name more often than Third Wave Coffee Source. We understand that this might be a bit confusing. Allow us to elaborate on this change!

We're all one and the same. We've been using our PrimaVera name in the US last year and we feel our new name is closer to what we do. PrimaVera (spanish for spring) refers to Guatemala as the 'country of eternal spring’. The northern hemisphere is also in full spring when our coffees are arriving, giving PrimaVera a double meaning all related to our homebase Guatemela. We'll be using both the PrimaVera & Third Wave names simultaneously for the foreseeable future, and you can always reach us at all the email adresses we've been using the last years!

Primavera @ Amsterdam Coffee Festival

Tomorrow the Amsterdam Coffee Festival is landing in Amsterdam and we're hosting 3 public cuppings at the Stooker Booth. More details on that at the link below. If you want to meet up around ACF, shoot us a line!
